The Voice: Coaches Give Mixed Reviews on Round Two of Play-Offs

After a mind-blowing first round of play-offs on The Voice Monday, the celebrity coaches gave more mixed reviews on Tuesday's show.

After opening with a group performance of My Chemical Romance's "Sing," Christina Aguilera's and Cee Lo Green's singers took the stage for their solos.

Devyn DeLoera and Diego Val strived to give it their all, but ultimately fell short. Team Christina's DeLoera hoped to show viewers her softer side with a rendition of Leona Lewis's "Bleeding Love," but her vocals did little to convince the coaches that she had more than one singing style. Team Cee Lo's Val banked on singing Enrique Iglesias' sultry hit "Bailamos," but didn't wow the coaches.

Other competitors fared much better: Nicholas David on Team Cee Lo thrilled the coaches with an incredibly sexy and soulful take on Barry White's "You're the First, the Last, My Everything." (Watch below if you're on a desktop computer.)

The performance certainly got Adam Levine's approval. "Barry White makes baby-making music," he said. "And I want to make a baby now."
